Organik is Linn’s first DAC that is designed and built completely from scratch. Most digital music players rely on “bought in” DACs from a handful of manufacturers, and whilst this keeps costs down, there is room for improvement when it comes to sound quality.
Organik uses Pulse Width Delta-Sigma Modulation with a discrete Analogue Finite Impulse Response Conversion, which removes the issue of small errors in switching times and resistor values generating distortion.
Combined with Organik’s ultra stable DR (Discrete Regulator) power supply, precision clocking and eight layer circuit board, Organik makes the music sound more natural than other digital sources.
At Hidden Systems we have a Selektion (sorry) of Selekts fitted with the standard DAC, Katalyst, Stereo Organik and Dual Mono Organik so that you can hear for yourself the improvement Organik makes to a system.
