Description
The Linn Klimax Radikal is the motor and power supply at the heart of the Klimax LP12. The latest version, launched in October 2025, features new casework machined from three pieces of solid aluminium, which brings sonic improvements through better electrical and mechanical isolation and matches it to the current Klimax range.
It also features a bespoke Utopik power supply, which improves the performance of both the motor control circuitry and the Urika phono stage (if fitted).
Also includes:
- Brushed DC motor
- Speed management system that checks and adjusts the speed on every platter rotation
- Electronic speed change between 33⅓ and 45rpm
Like other LP12 upgrades, it is designed to be fitted to an existing Sondek LP12, and we can check your deck and fit it in our workshop or at your home. Explore the range on our Linn LP12 turntables page, or find out about LP12 set-up, upgrades and servicing.
